Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers Recipe

It’s back to school week in our house so I’m keeping our meals super simple. Simple and healthy doesn’t have to mean boring and tasteless, I still want our food to be delicious!

A tip for you from a mom of 14+ years, kids LOVE eating food off of sticks. There’s just something festive about skewers, even if what’s on them isn’t any different than a regular dinner you’d cook in the oven. Whenever I put food on skewers my kiddos are so enthusiastic about dinner, even the veggies!

If you’re crawling to the finish line and feeling exhausted by the  first week of school, you are not alone. My advice is to take the weekend to do a little prep and planning for your meals next week so you have a solid plan. Meal planning is THE best way to save time, energy, and your sanity each week.
